GCSE, iGCSE, AS and A Level, International Baccalaureate

Tuition will concentrate on the topics you find difficult with further practice as necessary.
Past exam questions will be used to highlight topics that require further work.
Your own course text books will normally be used.

I am familiar with most of the current examination specifications
including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and the International Baccalaureate.

I cover all the AS and A level units including Core 1-4, Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Theory (Discrete Mathematics).

SATS and pre GCSE

As well as reinforcing school work I use material from NRICH (part of the Millennium Mathematics project) which aims to:
Enrich the experience of the mathematics curriculum
Offer challenging and engaging activities
Develop mathematical thinking and problem solving skills
Show rich mathematics in meaningful contexts.

Professional and Degree Examinations

I can tutor you in mathematics and statistics for professional qualifications such as HND, OND, NVQ, GNVQ, CIMA and other Management Certificates. I also help undergraduate and postgraduate students with a wide variety of mathematical and statistical techniques.

Job Entry Tests

I can help you prepare for job application tests. Many employers, including the RAF and the Royal Navy, require applicants to pass mathematical apptitude tests. You may only need a few lessons to help recall basic arithmetic and algebra.
